Éirways was founded by Kieran O’Hare and Kevin O’Brien. We’re delighted to work with a team of collaborators in Ireland and around the world.
Kieran O’Hare, Co-Publisher and Editor
Kieran was educated at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and at Trinity College, Dublin, where he received a first class honours degree in Modern Irish History. By the age of 18, he had been described by Studs Terkel as a ‘one-man ecumenical movement’ for his diverse, wide-ranging interests. Kieran is an accomplished performer of Irish traditional music, and he serves on the Board of Na Píobairí Uilleann in Dublin.
Kevin O’Brien, Co-Publisher and Designer
Kevin was born in Philadelphia, and educated in Massachusetts. After a decade in California he moved his family to coastal Maine and founded O’Brien Design nearly thirty years ago, a firm specializing in graphic and publication design. Kevin’s many interests include well-designed books and magazines, architecture, and Irish traditional music.
Denise Keegan, Marketing Coordinator
Denise was educated at Dublin City University where she received a first class honours degree in Journalism. She is a full time broadcast journalist with wide ranging interests in the arts, voluntary community development, sport and the outdoors. Following a three year period of living and working overseas, Denise and her husband moved home to the heart of Ireland where they have lived and worked since. Her interests include promoting the wonderful county of Longford and rural Ireland in general, reading and choral singing.
